The Hineni Office Today page for a fictional church: a greeting, a search box, and everyday tasks for board packets, hiring and onboarding, payroll information, and reimbursements.
A real screen from the Hineni Office test build, shown with fictional sample data. Cedar Hollow Community Church and the people named are not real.

The everyday work,
kept in one place.

01 /

Board meeting preparation.

Save a monthly board packet from your Money reports, add explanations and proposed motions, and print it. The figures are saved exactly as the reports show them, with unfinished work labelled.

02 /

Hiring and onboarding.

Start from the person, choose employee or volunteer, and work through one checklist beside draft worksheets you can fill in and print. Record which paperwork has come back. The drafts are starting points for your church to review, not finished legal forms.

03 /

Requests and approvals.

Submit a reimbursement or bill request with its receipt details. Approval and payment stay separate steps, handled by the people your church chooses.

04 /

Money records.

Cash-basis bookkeeping for giving, journal drafts, budgets, bank reconciliation, and reports, with every number traced back to saved records.

05 /

People.

One directory where a person can be a member, staff, volunteer, and leader at once, with onboarding checklists, training renewals, and leave requests.

06 /

Calendar and serving.

Schedule events, rooms, and recurring services, and see which serving roles still need someone.

07 /

Building and operations.

Work orders for facility issues, plus assets, recurring maintenance, vendors, and contract and insurance renewal dates.

08 /

A clear starting point.

A Today page shows what needs attention, who owns it, and when it is due, along with the unfinished work you saved, ready to pick up.

One simple plan.
Priced per church.

Built to support
the people you rely on.

Hineni Office helps you prepare, organize, and keep records. It works alongside your board, treasurer, accountant, and HR advisor, not instead of them.

WHAT IT DOESN’T DO
  • Calculate or run payroll, or file taxes
  • Order background checks
  • Connect to your bank or move money
  • Give legal advice or guarantee compliance

A few useful answers.

Who is Hineni Office for?
The person who keeps a small church office running, often while wearing several hats. Your treasurer and other helpers can stay part of the work.
Do I need a credit card for the trial?
No. The 30-day free trial doesn’t require a card.
Is it priced per person?
No. One subscription covers your church: $29 a month, or $290 billed once a year, plus applicable tax.
Does it replace my accountant, payroll provider, or board?
No. It helps you prepare the work and keep it organized. Payroll calculation, tax filing, legal decisions, and approvals stay with the people and services your church already trusts.
Are the hiring documents legal forms?
No. They are draft starting points to review with your church’s policies and, where needed, a qualified advisor.
How is this different from a custom website or tool?
Hineni Office is a ready-made subscription for church offices. Websites and custom tools are one-time projects built for you, at fixed prices, and you own them.
When can I start?
Online sign-up isn’t open yet. Hosted accounts and the free trial will open after final testing. Email Mike to hear when it does.

POWERFUL TOOLS. PRACTICAL JUDGMENT.

AI can sound certain.
Even when it’s wrong.

AI can offer a polished, confident explanation built on a wrong assumption. If you don’t know what to question, that mistake can become the foundation of your project.

I use AI too. The value I bring is the judgment to challenge a recommendation, understand your situation, and check the work before asking you to rely on it.

  1. Experience behind the questions.

My work in church administration and technology shapes how I approach your project: who will use it, what could go wrong, and whether it makes everyday work easier.

  2. Direction before speed.

Even powerful AI with research tools can miss context or get things wrong. I work with you to check assumptions and choose an approach that fits your needs, budget, and workflow.

  3. Evidence before confidence.

A quote tool can look finished and still calculate the wrong price. I test custom software against real examples with agreed expected results. I question my own assumptions, too.

You’re hiring me to question the answers, steer the project, and take responsibility for the work we agree to deliver.
